Only guided tours of the castle; audio-visual exhibitions; toilets; disabled toilet; car park free; mini-bus to the castle; tearoom; restaurant. Disabled visitors can easily access the Visitor Centre there is only partial access to the ground floor of the castle.

This ‘Scottish style’ castle was built between 1870 and 1873, has a four storey rectangular keep and has one of the finest gardens in Ireland.

The National Park covers some 16,450 hectares of mountains, lakes, glens and woods and has its own herd of red deer.
