Open all year from 10am except Xmas Day. Admission charge; free parking; shop; cafes and licensed restaurant; indoor picnic area. Full facilities for the disabled. Overhead railway and summertime water bus.

A great day out, allow at least a full day to enjoy the largest zoo in Britain, with over 5000 animals in 500 species. Spacious animal enclosures set in 110 acres of prize winning gardens. The zoo is famous for its conservation and has the largest breeding colonies of chimpanzees an orangutans.

Guided tours, beautiful gardens, take the zoo-farm overhead railway, water bus or just stroll around and see the animals in their wonderful surroundings.
