The beautiful flint faced Church of St Michael has both Decorated and Perpendicular features and dominates the market place with its 14th century tower and ten bells, which have one of the finest rings in the county. The church has a two storeyed porch dating from 1488, west gallery, stained glass windows, a 1637 pulpit and some lovely brasses. The church remains an active parish church and is a Grade I listed building.
