The Aylsham Markets in Palmers Lane are not to be missed and are held every Monday. The sale rooms now sell everything from antiques to livestock.
Delightfully friendly and attractive small town on the River Bure, with wonderful little narrow winding streets, interesting shops and has trading stalls on most days. The Market Place in the centre is surrounded by lovely old buildings.
The Knoll and Bank House both built in 1700 are gabled.
The Manor House is dated 1608 and Aylsham Old Hall dated 1689.
The Black Boy is Queen Anne and is a delightful pub.
