Ardboe High Cross - Cookstown
Ardboe Old Cross, Battery Rd 16km E
This is where St Coleman of Dromore founded a monastery in the 6th century. The Cross of Ardboe is perhaps the finest of the ancient high crosses in Ulster. It is 18½ feet high, with 22 sculptured panels filled with representations of scriptural scenes.
