A cluster of houses makes up this little village situated in Strath Naver at the western tip of Loch Naver and overlooked by the massive Ben Klibreack whose highest peak is 3154ft.

It was once a thriving little village but landlords evicted their tenant and they came to the coast to try and eke out a living from the sea and the tumbledown ruins of their little homes can still be seen.
Near Klibreck Farm at the southwest end of the loch are prehistoric hut circles and a Celtic cross, and further along are the remains of a broch (an ancient stone tower) known as Dun-Creagach.

A lovely drive is to take the narrow road which runs northwest from the village passing the lonely Loch na Meadhe and reaching Strath More near its junction with Glen Colly.
