Built by Sir John Spencer in 1508 and altered by Henry Holland in 1790, home of the Earl and Countess Spencer.
Magnificent pictures, porcelain and furniture. The Great Room, once the ballroom and contains fine 18th century furniture. The Picture Gallery was used by Robert Spencer First Baron as a dining room and the famous Van Dyck's double painting of 'War and Peace' graces one of the walls.
The Sunderland room was named after the original title of the Spencer family.
The State Dining Room has a magnificent mahogany table which seats 40 and is adorned with the Spencer silver.

This magnificent house is set in 550 acres of undulating parkland with lakes.
