Aldenham

A village set around its green and ancient church and from the hillside are magnificent views across the Colne valley to St Albans.

Aldenham House is an 18th century brick building with magnificent gardens of rare trees and flowering shrubs planned by the Hon. Vicary Gibbs in the latter part of the 19th century.

Edge Grove is a late 18th century house with a four-column porch and Wall House is a cemented house and is castellated and turreted.
