Manor Farm - Botley

Leave M27 at Junction 8. Park: open in daylight hours, daily. Farm: Easter to end October, 10am-5.30pm, last entry 5pm. 1 November to Easter Sundays only, 10am-dusk. Shop and tea rooms.

Situated on the upper reaches of the River Hamble, this park offers shoreline or woodland paths and walks in which to saunter for those truly wishing to "leave it all behind' with meadows in which to picnic. At the end of the lane is Manor Farm, a traditional working farm of a bygone age. Explore the farmhouse, barns, wheelwright's workshop and forge. See the farmyard animals, goats, turkeys and chickens as well as rare cattle sheep and a shirehorse, plus a family of Wessex Saddleback pigs.
