Lulworth Castle, (EH)

Toilets; no dogs allowed; car parking; suitable for picnics; wheelchair access by ramp. Built in the early 16th century as a romantic-hunting lodge, Lulworth Castle was changed into a fashionable country house set in beautiful parkland during the 18th century. Gutted by fire in 1929, the exterior of the castle is being restored.
