Halesowen Abbey, (EH) - Birmingham

Halesowen Abbey, (EH), off A456 Kidderminster road, 6m W of Birmingham city. Open July & August weekends only, 10am-6pm. Admission charge; parking; no dogs allowed; wheelchair access (rough grass between church and infirmary).

Remains of an abbey founded by King John in the 13th century, now incorporated into a 19th century farm. Parts of the church and monks' infirmary can still be made out.
